20 years of service

Its been 20 years since EDMR was established as one of the first independent repairers of servo motors and associated drives. Since then we have continued with a keen focus on specialist motors and drives and are now firmly established as the market leaders in their repair, service and supply.

On-going investment in new equipment, facilities and staff enables us to maintain our reputation as market leaders. Technology has moved on considerably since 1988 and, as then, EDMR is keeping pace with this change.

plant & works exhibition

It is our great pleasure to invite you to the leading manufacturing event of 2008.

With over 40,000 visitors to these events in 2006 and the addition of a maintenance based engineering show makes this the must-visit exhibition for 2008 and one not to miss out on. It is quite literally a one stop solution to all manufacturing, engineering and maintenance strategies for industry.

emergency supply

When a motor fails on a production line the consequences can be catastrophic, in most circumstance the loss of production can run in to thousands of pounds per day.

This was the situation that came up prior to the Easter Bank Holiday. A customer had found our details on the web and was looking to source a 365kW DC shunt motor for a plastic granulator.

Delivery was required on the Tuesday after the bank holiday (A tall order for such a large motor). Repair was not an option as time was critical. We supplied a brand new motor to specification from our extensive European based stock and completed delivery to the customer site for the Tuesday.
